Preparing for Core Funding #4: State Plans and Injury Community Planning Groups (ICPGs)



Continuing the series of webinars on preparing for core funding, this webinar will feature national and state experts with experience creating statewide plans for injury and violence prevention, as well as the groups that are set up to put those plans in place. State plans and implementation groups are considered foundational to effective state injury prevention programs and were required for applicants to the Core Violence and Injury Prevention Funding in the last round.


Learning objectives of webinar:

  • Understand key elements of a state plan

  • Learn about different models of structuring ICPGs

  • Understand the types of partners to engage for planning and ICPGs

  • Learn models of evaluating the work done under a state plan
