|2016 Annual Meeting Scholarships|
Safe States Alliance is excited to announce the availability of scholarship opportunities to attend the 2016 Annual Meeting, to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico from April 12 -14, 2016.
Safe States is committed to supporting and building the future injury and violence prevention workforce. The 2016 Annual Meeting is an opportunity for professionals to network with injury and violence prevention professionals from state and local health departments, hospitals, universities, federal agencies, and private organizations; learn new evidence-based skills and strategies; and share their current work with peers in the field of injury and violence prevention.
Scholarship requests will be prioritized for students, individuals representing states not currently funded through the CDC Core Violence and Injury Prevention Program, persons who have authored abstracts that have been accepted for oral or poster presentation, and those with Safe States Alliance membership.
