Safe States & CDC Webinar:

Social Media Engagement and Content Development for IVP

Safe States and CDC are excited to offer a new webinar series on social media for injury and violence prevention (IVP). No matter your level of experience in social media, you will find something useful for learning how it can help in your IVP efforts.

Do you feel like social media is becoming a developing communication channel for you or your organization? Would you like a chance to learn how to use different digital platforms to get your prevention messages out? Are you interested in establishing social media presence or listening to what is already being said in the across social media channels? If the answer to one or all of these questions is ‘yes’, we invite you to join us and learn more about using social media to enhance IVP communications.

To keep the series simple and appropriate for people at all levels of social media experience, we will be offering monthly 1-hour webinars from September-December 2014. Each session will cover a different aspect of using social media as an IVP professional and allow time for Q&A with presenters. Additionally, there will be practical, hands-on tasks that participants can complete to apply the knowledge and skills they gain during each webinar.

Social Media Engagement and Content Development for IVP

In the third webinar of the series, we will discuss developing credible social media content, building an audience, and learning how to engage with both individuals and organizations.

Social Media Measurement, Analysis, and Next Steps for IVP

December 17, 1-2 p.m. ET

In the final webinar of the series, we will describe how to measure and analyze your social media efforts as well as discuss next steps for being an active participant on social media.

Registration will be open one session at a time. Be sure to mark your calendar for all sessions if you are interested in joining us for the entire series.
