2024 Annual Injury and Violence Prevention Conference Registration Options
The 2024 Safe States Injury and Violence Prevention Conference will take place at the Hilton Portland Downtown in Portland, Oregon, beginning Tuesday, August 20th through Thursday, August 22nd. Regular registration ENDED on Monday, July 29th. Onsite registration is available.

Registration Discounts for Members
Before registering for the Annual Conference as a Non-Member, consider both the financial and member-services benefits of joining Safe States first. The cost of an individual Safe States membership is $125. The difference in cost between a Member Annual Conference registration fee and a Non-Member registration fee is $150. You save $25 by joining Safe States prior to registering for the Annual Conference, AND in addition to getting access to the 2024 Annual Conference, you also gain access to all the member benefits Safe States provides for one year.

The Safe States Alliance is a designated provider of entry-level continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) and a designated provider of CECH by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE). Safe States anticipates offering 27.25 CHES/CPH credits at the 2024 Annual Conference.
Registration substitutions (i.e., changing the name on the registration) are permitted up to July 29th. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. (Name badges are not guaranteed to be ready at registration for those making change requests after July 29th.)
Cancellations must be submitted by Monday, July 29th and will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee. Note: Early Registration ENDED Monday, June 17, 2024 Regular Registration ENDED Monday, July 29, 2024

As a part of registering for the Safe States Injury and Violence Prevention Conference, the attendee gives consent for Safe States to record, videotape and photograph their image and/or voice to be used for Safe States materials including but not limited to: website, social media, annual reports, publications, etc. If you do not consent, please notify Safe States at registration@safestates.org.
