Policy Committee

 

 

The Policy Committee is responsible for the following activities:

  • Developing the annual policy agenda and legislative priorities for Congress
  • Developing and recommending policy and position statements to address priority injury and violence prevention-related issues
  • Promoting the importance of advocacy and policy change among the membership and constituencies of Safe States
  • Supporting and promoting the annual "Hill Day” for members to visit Capitol Hill and educate Congress about injury and violence prevention activities, challenges, and successes
