When change in leadership happens - whether it's individuals retiring, changing careers or taking a sabbatical - it can have a profound effect in the workplace environment. Planning for leadership change can allow for better success and help alleviate stress as the transitions occur.

  • Knowledge Transfer Plan - an Excel spreadsheet to document employee's key contacts, job assignments and deliverables, activities, meetings, and technology needs of job. Also includes and exit interview questionnaire.
  • Succession Planning Tool - an Excel spreadsheet that allows documentation of employee information and job responsibilities along with questions, wishes, and things to know during job transition.
  • What to Include in a Desk Manual - a Word document that provides information on what to include in a desk manual for employees to reference for specific job detail. Also ensures that valuable institutional knowledge is not lost when employees leave the organization.
